Hi! I’m Maude, the proud new owner of Yayu Cafe :) 

Originally from Quebec City, my desire for adventure lead me to the West Coast. I instantly fell in love with it’s unique lush rainforests, and was in admiration of the people thriving within it’s coastal elements.

My dog Taiki and I, are excited to grow and flourish in this small town we call home. With years of hospitality & culinary experience, along with a background in Wildlife Management and Biology, I am passionate about continuing to serve the community through education, connection & nourishment. What started as a seed and tribute to a friend’s late mother, has now bloomed into a hub where anyone and everyone can share good food with good friends. I will continue to advocate for more plants on our plates, which in turn: support our physical well-being, reduce environmental impacts, and reduce animal suffering. Yayu’s mission remains the same: to build a healthier, happier, and more sustainable future. Hope you'll join us!
